My girlfriend is a fashion queen and always has to be dressed to the max when we go out. It makes me feel insecure because I'm a jeans-and-shirt kind of guy. Are people wondering what a girl like her is doing with ssomeone like me?

Maybe they are or maybe they aren't. What does it matter. She is going home with you and not them. My husband is the same way. He loves jeans and T-shirts. I like to dress up. That is one of the qualities that I love about him. He is comfortable with himself and does not feel like he need to impress everyone.

If I saw the two of you, I would personally be wondering what the heck a cool guy like you is doing with someone who is obviously so completely insecure. I think it is good that people want to look their best, but if you can't look your best in a pair of jeans and a shirt, then you are obviously not very comfortable with yourself. If I were you, I would be watching for other warning flags. Girls like that usually exhibit other problems in relationships and you have to decide if you want to be with someone who is grounded but loves themselves (therefore they are capable of loving someone else i.e. you) or with someone who may look great all the time, but does not have a real sense of themselves that they must define themselves by their appearance. You gotta find a balance.

I personal like the looks of jeans and a t-shirt on a man.I see girls who are with non-attractive guys and think"wow, they must really have something in common"And I respect that.Thats means each person doesnt care what others think. If your girlfriend had a problem with you not being so dressy then she excepts you the way you are.I know its hard to think positive out of this but you should be thinking "wow,I have a beautiful women by my side"If anything others will be jealous.Dont let it get to you.And if it bothers you so much then try dresing up a little more.
