why do most teenagers hate advice?

i am a father of two teenagers. when it comes to general behaviour, they usually do not listen. they think their mom and me are their enemies. in the course of buying, they choose what they think suit them and in the ned it ends up with dull things and we have to buy other things we think suit them.

Infact now a days most teenagers hate advices bcoz they feel they know everything and sometimes takes hasty decesions....somebody feel very inferior to follow others advices so they go in their own way. At the sametime even parents should not pressurize them in everything, they should give them little freedom to take decisions then only they can learn things.
