Being gay doesn't make you "more male" or "more female". If you're male you're male and if you're female you're female. The "boss of the house" has nothing to do with gender anyway. The boss of the house should be the person who owns or is on the lease for the house. If it is joint or if the people living there are partners (gay or straight) then it should be a PARTNERSHIP and partnerships are equal. Neither should be the boss of the other one.

I quite agree with you. However, the Old Testament talks about the man being the head of the household. In mordern times we can see this has changed but you know sometimes we do not want to accept change so we stick to what was written a long long time ago. Both should be equal since each one is seen by God equally. He loves you the same way he loves me. Thank y0u for your comments and do keep up the good work.

Oh, this one is so difficult. As we all know, as soon as a man gets married, his wife becomes his boss. She's in charge of everything, and if she's smart, she'll allow him to think he is! As one of a gay couple, I can't say we have a boss in the house. Over a period of almost three years together, I took charge of certain tasks (laundry, cleaning up) while my boyfriend takes care of others (the garden, the pets). We both cook and usually do our grocery shopping together. We split the household expenses but run our own bank accounts. The male/female idea sticks in my throat like a fish bone. If we wanted a female in the relationship, we wouldn't have been gay.

I don't see why both can't run the house equally. I mean, they are equal partners in the ways of life and love, so why can't both rule?
