I think the show will be hilarious. It will be nice to see some kind of balancing force in pseudonews to counter the brainwashing of The Daily SHow and the Colbert Report.

What brainwashing? The Daily Show and Colbert Report mock Democrats as well as Republicans, finding ripe satire on both sides. It's a pretty safe assumption that the show on the Fox News Channel will only rip on liberals. However, I doubt the show will last long. I caught a few clips at Salon.com. Not only is the material weak, the studio audience laughter was definitely canned. As much of a bleeding heart liberal as I am, even I feel conservatives deserve better than this.

yeah, brainwashing. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert dont actually talk about issues, they talk about rhetoric that isn't in context, doesn't make sense (or isn't a good argument), and makes their own agenda look stronger. I know they mock Democrats too, but the tone of the show is still blaringly anti-Republican. Regardless, it dumbs down everything and makes the audience a sheep to the rhetoric.
