I use baking soda to clean my ceramic stove when there is no ceramic product available. I also use vinegar with a little water on a damp paper towel to clean my computer screen. I use it also to clean my windows and use a newspaper to police them. Baking soda followed by vinegar will keep the sink clear. Also orange peels in the food dispenser will get rid of that horrid smell.

I use vinegar a lot! I dilute it to clean glass, I put it in a particular stinky diaper wash, but here's a cool site on how to make your own, it has recipes. http://www.care2.com/channels/solutions/home/344 I also use some orange oil, an essential oil with some diluted vinegar to clean countertops and the table after a messy meal. My son has really sensitive skin so we can't use chemicals in our home. If we shampoo our carpet, we use this recipe http://www.happyslob.com/carpetsolution.html
