Happy New Year to all Chinese here at Mylot and those who will be celebrating tonight for the new year ahead of you. This is a story about the porky pewter, which is representing this year of the pig so what have the years 1947,1959,1971,1983 and 1995 got in common, with 2007. Each is the year of the pig, Prosperity Pig pewter figurines set on a timeber base. They symbolise new life and renew hope. Eat Chocolates at a chinese new year as chocolates are supposed to bring you lots of money. So enjoy your Chinese new year and be prepared for the whole year of the pig.

I did not realise it was Chinese new year until I went shopping today , The girl in the supermarket was giving out raffle tickets and I won some Chinese cooking sauce , ( never tried it before this ) so I bought a vegetable stir fry and I am going to give it a go tonight , xx

I think it is really strange how China has a New year in February I just do not understand this, I always thought that the 31/12 is New Year for everyone as it is the end of the Year.
