Real Genius and Karate Kid were my favorite movies.
Orange Push Ups were a great summer snack and Jelly shoes ruled.

Dont forget bangle bracelets, big hair, ponytails on the side, two different colored t-shirts with the sleeves rolled a bit, some leggings, big hoop earrings, culotts, the movies Weird Science adn Ferris Bueller. I was still pretty young in the 80s. But I do remember the things you mentioned. I remember having like 6 pairs of jelly shoes in different colors.
