what can i use at home for stomach gas

im at home with terrible gas and i dont have anything over the counter. what natural remedy can i use?

bicarb of soda or baking powder, 1 tsp in a glass of water. It really helps Fennel seeds also are useful

I agree with this, as well as just good ol' fashioned water, and plenty of it. Also, avoid any "gassy" foods or high-fat foods that are difficult to digest until you're feeling better.

Do you have any yogurt? Sometimes gas in the intestines can be alleviated by eating yogurt with "active BL" culture. (Basically, just the bacteria used to make yogurt.) Also, if you have active charcoal/carbon tablets, they work well for gas, especially if you don't like taking liquid remedies, and they're relatively cheap. (They're good to keep on hand for accidnetal ODs and poisonings as well, but I'd ask the pharmacist/chemist about the recommended dosage.)
