If you had a sick pet that could potentially infect your whole family, the best thing would be, in your opinion to take care of him, give him to some isolation facility or just put him out of his (or your) misery? no one listens to my send him away and save yourself theory...Ideas?

I don't have pets now but I understand how can this be a hard decision sometimes, still even if it was a family member and has an infectious disease we would still have to isolate them and we would be required to do so by law.. I would say the pet should be sent to an isolated facility if this can be arranged, if it can't be cured and this is confirmed then putting them out of misery is a sensible choice and one should not feel guilt about doing what is needed to be done.

True what neeeds to be done should be. It's convincing people it should be done that's the problem. Oh well, least someone else can see that.-_-
