what would you do if your father, who's a cheater, dies?

i for one, i really don't know yet. You see i have a father who is in the heart center right now and had a bypass operation last week. He is a super-dooper cheater and a liar! Before he was admitted to the heart center, nobody wants to help because of what he did to our mom and of course to us. Now that only our mom takes care of him, im kinda thinking of "what if he dies?"without anyone of us his children didn't manage to talk to him before his expiration. What if...for now i don't know, but though he's kinda bad father to us, as he always say that "no matter what, he is still our father", i still pray that he will live longer or give him another life so he coulld repent from all the sins that he had made here on earth and that he will ask forgiveness to us and most especially to our mom. That if given the chance to live for the second time around, then i hope that he'll give back what my mom did for him eventhough he is bad.

I also don't know how to answer your question because I never been to it and thanks God my father is a very good dad and a husband to my mama. But you know what, hypothetically, if I am in your situation I might also think at first that it is already his karma of everything he did but I am also sure that somewhere down in my heart I will still feel pity for my father. As what they say, blood is thicker than water.
