do we need proposal any more?

most of the people talk very often with his lover about marriage....so does he has to propose her any more? she knows, it is not a surprise for her any more right? what do you think?

It's not so much that a proposal is needed, it's just something romantic that couples do together. Often the lady isn't surprised by the question, rather by the way he asks. ;) That's the fun of it. It's nice to see what romantic ideas he comes up with.

We do not speak about marriage with my boyfriend, because he knows I do not want to be married again. So it would be a surprise for me :DD
My exhusband and I knew that we would be married, so it was not special or surprising for me. But now, I have to say I regret...
