I knew only little about call center. Can you please tell me the difference between outbound and inbound call in call center term? Coz I've been seeing a lot of ads that needed an outbound call center agent. And how is it only in commission basis? Hope someone will clear this things to me. Thanks.

Inbound calls is wher eyou just sit there and wait for the customers to call you. Outbound calls are when you are doing the calling like for collections or telemarketing.

hello! an outbound call is when you are the one calling, or you will be the one to call random people and try to market or sell your product. while an inbound call is when you will answer calls from your clients, or in short term, customer service. hope that helps you clear things out! take care...

I know outbound is calling out and inbound is calling in, but what I don't know is the exact job they are in. So outbaound is selling and inbound is like a customer service. Ok thanks for the info.
