How about a DAD can't see HIS own baby ?

A friend of mine just had a baby for few months. Last year, she had relationship with this guy, the gone too far and broke up. After she broke up with this guy, she had a relationship with married guy. Afterward She found out that she's pregnant when she delivered the baby at her room around late July '06. She didn't knew if she's pregnant for 6 months and 3 weeks. So the baby was taken to the hospital and stayed there for few months. Because when the paramedic reached them, the baby already turned purple. Now, the baby living with his mom. But the baby daddy can't visit his son until now because his ex GF won't allowed it. the baby mom just ask the ex BF money for their kid but not allowing him to see his son. Even a lot of people told them to get married so the baby have a dad, she won't do it. She said that she's too good for him, he's not deserve him as well. So .. any of you guys know how to help the baby's dad to see his son ?
