St. Patrick's Day Celebration Ideas

I agree with Inked4life's suggestion of The Commitments. that is just a great film. Also, it's a part of a larger trilogy called The Barrytown trilogy. All the movies are quite good, but The Commitments are the best. My friends and I enjoy watching Boondock Saints. It's voilent, but it's really good. Also, it takes place in Boston (which is where we live) so we really like recognizing certain locations in the film. Another tradition we do is make guiness stew and then have guiness ice cream for dessert. If you don't feel like cooking, I would check out the local Irish pubs. A lot of places have live music and special events around St. Patrick's Day.

Don't think we're doing too much this year, but we usually go to an Irish Pub that is pretty close to where we live. I'll probably have a couple cans of Guinness to celebrate. A good movie to put on for a party that has an Irish flavor would be "The Commitments"...just my 2 cents.
