internet love:how real

Hi! love in the internet is true but only few people succeeded in finding the right person specially nowadays that you really dont know if the person you are chatting is true to what he/she say about his/herself. When it comes to the love thing, i guess im really lucky because my present boyfriend is actually my chat mate few years ago. When i chat, im realy honest about myself because theres no reason for me to lie. We live in the same country and the same place so it was easy for us to talk on the phone after we chat. It took us two years before becoming a couple. We are very happy right now and we're actually planning to get married.

Warning: I don't want to try to discourage anyone, just posting MY thoughts/opinions on this. I have had 2 "relationships" if you want to call them that, that were formed by chatting on the internet. Both of the men lived locally, so it wasn't like a long-distance AND internet relationship. Both relationships did not work out. The main reason: Lies! I found that having a "romantic" relationship with someone you met online isn't easy.. You put so much trust into this person, but there's usually this voice saying "Is he/she being honest? How do I know that's what he/she is like" and so on. That is one reason why I prefer to not TRY and find someone to date using the interwebs (lol). Then again, my Mother met her now husband using a Dating site, they've been married 5 months now.. Maybe it's not so bad??

I am in love with a guy I met online. I am actually flying half way across the US to meet him at the beginning of April. He is everything that I have ever wanted in a guy and I can't believe that I have found him. This is the happiest that I have ever been. :-) I do know a lot of people who have found love online. Quite a few actually. My father had met someone who he had later on married. My aunt just had her boyfriend from online move in with her a few months ago. The list goes on.
