To keep it together? Possessiveness usually does not help there. My ex-fiance was a very jealous and possessive person who accused me of cheating all the time, even if I were going over a friend's house. He was overly possessive and in the end, it turns out that he was the one cheating on me the entire time. That was my experience with possessiveness in a relationship. I do not think that someone being possessive over the other will help keep the relationship together. It could make the other person feel trapped and smothered, which might make them want to leave more. If a relationship is falling apart, there is not anything that you can really do to stop it. Try talking to the person about the relationship and see if it is worth even trying to keep it together. You might be able to find out some interesting things.

hey there, it's good to be secure and honest in a relationship, possesive can be good at times but not all the time as sometimes it makes relationships break or cause alot of pain!
