When I was younger, piercing was not that prevalent yet. I wanted to have a tongue pierce when I was in college. It was actually to test my pain threshold. I pierced my ear when I was in elementary so I wanted to test if I could still endure the pain. My boyfriend dissuaded me from doing so for I got a lot of pimples that time, he told me that I wouldn't appear very attractive with a ring on my tongue. I instead had a belly button pierce. It's still here up to now and I have no regrets for I proved to myself that I could still do it. I have plans of having a tattoo one of these days.

No way... I like my body as it is. Don't need more accessories, I'm pretty enough though.

No. I think that it is a dangerous adventure. Now that does not mean that i'm against peircings...I've had my belly and nose done since I was 16. I just think that a tongue piercing is unprofessional and it looks dirty. People who have thier tongue pierced are constantly playing with it or have their tongues hung out for people to see. That's pretty gross. I hope you choose not to do it if you're asking if you should. I think that it would be really hard to get a good job also if you have this done. Think about your future and not the present.
