Does religon help us?

We have just enough religion to make us hate, but not enough to make us love one another - this is what I am thinking.. What is thought?

I don't believe that religion makes us hate, I think it's people who hate religion. These are the people who start the wars and hate. I love my religion but I also love those who do not but there will always be people who will want to start a fight for even something as simple as this discussion.

there is no religion more pure and simple as just being human. and if you can not understand this simple thing than you feel as people are who hate religion. because roots or our religions world over are weak ....

I think you are right. I think that religion has been taken over and the true meaning lost by organisations like the roman catholic church for example who use it as a form of control for people and to get them to do what they want.
