Are parents become good friend for u r child

well i think the parents plays a very important role in becoming a friend for the child. my father is like my friend if i got stuck in any problem he help me to through out he always motivate me for my doing he also shows me way that what should i become if i m old .

Same here. My father was always there for me when i needed him. He encouraged his kids to follow their heart. said that in that case, we would be able to achieve anything in life.
He is not there anymore though. He passed away last year. I just hope that i can be even a fraction of what he was.... i would consider myself a good parent in that case.
