I'm not from Nigeria, but if this guy sent you an email and is claiming to get you money in some way, it is a scam. Tons of online money scams seem to come from there. Don't send him any money or you will never see it again, I guarentee it.

Yeah, good for you for asking questions.
Pretty much and unsolicited email you get that wants you to "handle a money transaction", or "transfer funds" on behalf of someone is a scam. Delete the email.
If they claim you have won a prize (in a contest you didn't enter) but you need to pay some charge before recieving, it is also a scam.
Be safe out there; it is easy to be fooled by all the dishonest people who will turn your trusting nature against you.

he is a scammer please dont do anything with this man. You can go to this site and see all the scammers and scam e-mails coming out of that country.

Scam alert! Do not respond back please. About 3 years ago I fell for one of these. I even talked to the guy over the phone. He ended up sending me a stolen check and I ended up oweing the bank over $7000.
The check was from the bank I do business at. The bank let me go ahead and withdraw some money. I had to send this guy back a some to pay for bank transactions and so forth. After I withdrew the money and send it to Nigeria the bank said the check was no good.
These checks were stolens and one number was changed. So Please do not contact him again. It will ruin your life.
