What makes 'Martial Arts' attractive to boys?

I can't speak for other boys, but as for myself, martial arts is a way to test my physical limits since Silat, especially (a Malaysian martial art) applies full body conditioning and elevates fitness levels apart from teaching combative techniques. People who exercise often will tell you of a 'high' that comes from the adrenaline rush and endorphin dumps they experience when exercising. This is the same for martial artists, and since boys are more often culturally taught to be more physical, I suppose the martial arts appeal to their sense of physicality and competition. I think, that as boys, we all wanted to be strong and cool, which is the archtypical martial arts action star. The movements, with their beautiful prowess wow us, which gets us into it, and frankly I think the whole lifestyle of a warrior is attractive to most boys, which martial arts seems to embrace.

Yes martial art is my favorite.It attracts us because with one punch we can bring the opponent down.It is the art which makes us use both our physical strength and mind power together so that whomsoever the opponent be we can bring him down..
