Have anyone experienced the Holy Spirit before?

Hi,
I am just wondering did anyone experienced the holy spirit before? I am not a christian, but there's this period of time, I was really into reading the bible and going to the church, then one day when the pastor finished preaching and asked for anyone wants prayer please come in front of the altar call. I went and there were a lot of people down there waiting to be prayed. Then in the corner of my right eye, I saw this guy coming towards me, it was not the pastor, but I suspect it was the assistant pastor, he asked for my name, then he prayed for me, suddenly I felt a very strong energy or force flowed down from the top of my head, I really felt like crying, and I know for sure that if I cried, it will be a disaster, as it will be unstoppable. I controlled it, then after the prayer, I left the church, but strangely, that whole day, I felt so peaceful, calm, and blessed. Dont really know what happened? That was a really wonderful experience I ever felt for my whole life, cause until now, I didnt have that kind of experience again. I was thinking maybe that was what Jesus told his disciple in the book of John," Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you..."
Does anyone out there have a similar experience like me?

I'm wondering why you say that you are not a Christian after an experience like that? Sadly I have never felt anything that strong, but I'd love to!

Hi,
Oh I am not because I believed in other things as well, like fengshi. As to christians, anything other than believing in the bible and God, are all from the devil. And I cant accept that, so therefore I am not a christian, and that's one of a few reasons.

Welcome to mylot!. I have had an experience and so has my mom.
When I was eight years old, a baptist minister visited our church and layed hands on people. He touched my mom's forehead and she was passed out for one hour along with another lady. When my mother awoke the color of her eyes changed to lighter. She became very involved afterwards in doing volunteer work for the church. She decribed the feeling as you said and mentioned that she felt like floating on a cloud. I felt the feeling in clearwater florida, where I went to visit and actual sighting of Mary. The area just felt very holy and annointed.
