Everyday, I have to do a lot of cleaning in my house. Doing laundry, sweeping, mopping, washing dishes, cooking, feeding my bunny and more. But I hate ironing clothes. I got sweaty all over doing it. I even bought an iron steamer, the one used in most boutiques, but get to use it a few times only. Anyone care to share yours...

I really dislike doing the dishes but I do it because if I don't then it doesn't get done. OF course that really is true for just about all of the household chores. I think what I will put off the most, and what I hate the most is actaully doing the laundry. I tend to forget once I have put clothes in the washer and quite often I have to run them again because they sat in there too long. I hate floding them also, because it hurts my back. the one thing I really don't mind doing at all, is surprisingly, scrubbing the toilets. I don't know why but maybe it is because they are small and scrubbing them really makes a big difference. I mean they just look so much better after a scrub, so I can really see where my effort went.

Good for you! I guess I really have no choice doing all of the above since I don't have any maid. Happy scrubbing then...

I hardly know anyone who DOES have a maid. Wish I had one, well, no I don't. I could spend money on something much more important.

I really dislike sweeping and dusting off items. Well, it wouldn't be so bad if I weren't allergic to dust (which is the case). I've tried doing these chores several times but evertime I tried, I'd end up sneezing, wheezing and coughing. =/

RoseDust, I don't know if this will help you, but have you tried Febreeze, Allergen Reducer? If you spray it around items and even on blankets, clothes, purses, and couches, it greatly cuts down on bad effects from dust and dust mites.

The 2 things that I hate is Ironing and cleaning Windows those are the worse things in Housework. I hardly have any clothes that need Ironing lol. But I haven't figured anything out on the Cleaning Window part yet lol.

Well this is a hard question for me to answer and i've spent awhile thinking about it and there things i don't enjoy doing but i don't really hate doing it. Having said that i'm not a fan of when people bring in dog terd into the house and i'm the one who notices it. So i guess thats on, anything else well it probably will come after hitting "post response" Kudos ~Joey

Hello Charms, Funny that I haven't seen this discussion before. I don't iron, unless it's a special occasion. Even then, I'm probably taking special event wear to the dry cleaners. I let the wind blow the wrinkles out of our every day laundry. And, it does a pretty nice job. Much better than out of the dryer. As for the chore that I least enjoy, it's probably cleaning out the refrigerator. Yuck!

Sounds like a great laundry plan. But, do you have any suggestions about the refrigerator? 'Cause I'm certainly open to hearing them.

I used a mixture of baking soda and water to make a paste. It can clean your refrigerator nicely. I also detested that task.

LOL. This is 4 months already. I have long ago stopped doing laundry work. The detergents are damaging my hands despite wearing gloves and using the washing machine. I bring my laundry to the shop instead every week. As for ironing, I used steam iron. Its easier and my clothes will be wrinkled free within seconds.

Recently only I found out, many people don't like ironing clothes. I'm totally fine with it. I enjoy the moment when I'm ironing, coz in my mind, I will think of something. It's time that I can make my brain peaceful, without any distraction, and concentrate on my thoughts. You can turn on air-con or fan while you are ironing, can't you? If I'd choose the thing I dislike, it'll be anything which is smelly or dirty. I don't like to throw the rubbish bags, and I don't really like washing dishes. Besides these, I'm quite ok with them.

I noticed when I'm ironing clothes in an air conditioned room, my hands will be a little stiff. That's why I avoided ironing in a cool place.

Least favorite household chores are cleaning the toilets, and mopping the KITCHEN floor. That floor get dirtier than the living room or bathroom floor!

The only thing I really hate doing in the house is folding the cloths. I don't mind washing and drying the cloths but folding the cloths for some reason bothers me. I love to do everything else in the house.

Hi Bunny! Have missed you. I took a week break from MyLot as my parents came to visit my daughter, hubby, and I so they could be here for my daughters first birthday! Anyhoo, to answer your question the job I hate the most around the house is cleaning the bathroom, especially the toilet! Ewwwwwww, nasty!
