NBA Allstar: Is Kobe worth the MVP award?

Knowing Kobe's history?? What exactly does this mean... Please elaborate on your posts... Does this mean his history of people thinking he was a ball-hog? Or his personal history- which was a he said/she said... I would hope you wouldn't mean that-- Because what a player does in his personal life really doesn't define them on the court.. Kobe by all means 100% deserved the MVP of the All Star game. Kobe is a tremondous player-- the best in the NBA right now-- Yes even better than Dwayne Wade.. and better than Amare Stoudemire.. Stoudemire played a great game also... But Kobe outshined him... Go Kobe!!

I don't like Kobe a single bit, esp when their duo (with Shaq) was wreaking havoc in the NBA.BUt lately,i find his arrogance wearing down and his letting his ability do the talking.i must admit,he's a great player.and lik Lebron James even told the press a few weeks back,kobe is the best player right now (and that came form another who would claim that monicker).Kobe's ability could never be more wanted than for a US dream team.I really think having Kobe in any of those losing dream teams of the past would have chnged who the resluting champion would have been...US! Kobe is the best right now,whether anybody likes it or not.

I think he deserve that award. Amare Stoudmire and Shawn Marion also deserve that..but Kobe done a good job in all-star. Making plays, stealing the basketball and scoring. I thinks he had done the criteria of choosing an ALL-STAR MVP. What Stoudamire & Marion did is just receive and score.

Personally I don't like Kobe. But i have to admit that he is a very good player and based on his performance during the all-star game he deserves to get it.

i never personally liked kobe but the way he's playing this season and especially in the all-stars are just indication that he did deseve that all-stars MVP honor.

Actually, Amare Stoudemire played a very nice game with 29 points, just 2 point behind Kobe. I think that Kobe played well in this game, he worths this. He score 31 points, with 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals. This is a very good stat in an ASG already. What do others think?
