For the majority of people who smoke Mary Jane and stop I don't think it really effects them. But my boyfriend has serious anger issues and Mary Jane has always helped calm him down and level him out. When he stopped smoking mary jane for a short while, I swear it was like he was going through a withdrawal. His anger got alot worst, he had no way to release his tension and things that he used to enjoy he just got crabby during. So I really think that it was like he was going through Mary Jane Withdrawal. Anyone have an opinion on this??

sure he'd experience withdrawls...it affects you psychologically and if you (generalized not specifically you) ahve convinced yourself that you "NEED" it for one reason or another, when you go without your mind will react accordingly...I know ALOT of ppl including myself at one point (I was chronic) who went through/go through the same thing...If he has serious anger issues I think a better idea than candycoating it by puffing a doobie would be going to a therapist and finding out WHY he has anger issues and what he can do about it to bring it to an end rahter than just covering it up..

Isnt there any low income programs in your area that are for ppl in need with little to no money? The medical field here in the U.S is SCREWED! I mean thats not somehting you would worry about in Ontario (canada)...theres always help available even if you are low income..the waiting list may be long but its there ya know.....I am assuming of course that you are in the U.S and I just realized that (if you are) its not like he could go to emerg either and ask for help since you have to pay for that too over here!....Does the college you go to not have any help available that isnt extra charge type thing??

its not weed withdrawal its a chemical imbalance in his brain, sure weed may help but many other things could be used to replace the thc of the weed. First and foremost he should see a doctor and get diagnosed and get a proper prescription medicine to calm the nuroreactors in his brain. Could be as simple as ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder) in which case Ritalin, Adderall, Concerta, Strattera, or Methylphenidate will help

I have a very bad opinion of ADHD and the usage of ritalin. When my brother and I were children we were falsley diagnosed and gaven ritalin for about 6 years. Now as a result my brother suffers from a really bad bipolar disorder. Ritalin has made a very large negative impact on his life.

Well, anytime your body is used to a certain chemical and suddenly it is removed there will be a reaction - whether it be mentally or physically. The same thing happens with people who don't get their daily caffeine fix (headaches, irritability, etc), smokers, fast food (people love that fat), etc. He just needs to stick with it, drink lots of water and do a proper detox. If his anger issues continue he may want to consider talking to a counselor or his doctor about it because it could be something more than just withdrawal. good luck!
