RING FINGER----why named so?????

ok,freinds all the fingers of hand named different but why the 4th finger named so special and also its used for wearings RINGS also....... some say the vein from this finger goes directly to HEART so ..............WHAT DO YOU SAY????????

dont know about the romantic logics but as medical science says, it connects to the heart. dat is the only reaosn may be

traditionally its called the ring finger because this is where the wedding ring goes, it is meant to represent the wedding ring round the heart
