I want to publish a children's book and don't know how to begin. Help me please.

Having a children's book published has always been a dream of mine and since I just turned 40, I feel like the time has come to act on that dream. I have been working on several children's books over the last couple of years, but have no idea how to get them published. My income is limited right now so I don't have a lot of money to invest at this time. Can anyone out there help me to make the next step, or send me some links, words of advice, experiences of your own. Thank you.

I have been publishing at lulu.com I am a translator of the Word of God from Greek to English. I have already published GENESIS, EXODUS, LEVITICUS (Greek-English), THE WILL New Testament (Greek to English), ELEMENTS of SALVATION, The Right Way, GOD, ORIGIN, TRANSFER into PERFECTION, GREEK-ENGLISH (Grammar & Vocabulary), WORDS in THE WILL New Testament, and others shown at http://www.lulu.com/arseniajoaquin
I have not spent even a single cent in publishing these. There are no set up fees. Authors are not even required to buy even a single copy of their books. In fact I have not seen any copy of any of my books as I have no money and I don't even have any credit card.
You may be interested to publish there also. It's very easy to follow instructions, easy to publish, and become a published author without even spending a single cent like me:)

That is exactly the type of information that I am looking for. I'm so glad that you responded to this discussion. I was beginning to think that no one would post. I'm going to check out that site. I really appreciate your taking the time to share your resource with me.

I hope you'd be able to publish your children's books at lulu.com where somebody has tried already to save some amount.
