How about sharing some Japanese recipes?

My family loves Japanese food much more than Chinese. Japanese food has such a distinctive taste. I really love the salad dressing most restaurants serve on their salads. I believe it is some type of ginger based dressing. I'd love to have a recipe for this. Also, the vegetables they serve is awesome. I have several recipes for Chinese food, but none for Japanese. I hope that some of you could share some recipes with me for Japanese food. Thanks.
