I try to play the keyboard (not the computer one) and had lessons for a couple of years as an adult because it was something I always wanted to do. Do you play any instrument - even if it is badly?

Yes, I do. I play the keyboard, guitar, and drums. I think it is good to be able to play atleast one instrument

Thanks for your comment. My son is starting to learn the sax this year at school also.

I play the piano by ear, and I have since I was three years old. I don't read music. I tried to learn, but with my poor eyesight, it didn't make any sense.

I used to play by ear also but had lesson for two years from 2000. It was something I always wanted to do and now I can read basic music and actually play so that others know what the song is haha

I play the piano and I play the organ for the church choir. I also play the keyboard and the accordion. I am presently learning to play the violin although at the moment it sounds rather more like the banshee. Next year I hope to learn to play the guitar and the clarinet.

Even a Banshee violin sound would be better than if I tried to play it! I try to play a little guitar but prefer the keyboard and piano.

It doesn't really matter how good you are as long as you enjoy playing. That's what music is all about.

You never seem to forget though, as I hadn't played keyboard for a long while and it only took a couple of hours to start to feel comfortable again.

I play guitar. I own a Synyster custom and a Squier Bullet.

I'm sorry I'm not into guitars so I don't recognise the names of those but my husband had a Fender 'malibu' and apparently that's a pretty good one to play.

They say once you learned you never forget - maybe just get a little rusty. Good on you.

Yeah I play the piano and keyboard. I have learnt ever since I was a kid, but because I was lazy and not much playing for a few years, the skill has gone bad. But it has been a couple of months that I have started playing again regularly, and I have seen improvements on my skills. I tried guitar a few years back, and didnt really do it for me, because it is hard to play and hurt my finger ahhahaha Next, i would like to try on playing drum, i think it is a good instrument, and so cool :)

The guitar is a bit hard on my fingers too. I think you must get callouses or something after playing for a while.

yeah, I can make some music with my coarse talent (LOL) in playing the guitar, the flute and the piano. I really am not good at playing those, but I can still make sumone else sing (meaning, they can recognize what I'm playing.. HAHAHAHAHAHA!). Its a hidden talent, do you think I should just continue hiding this musical talent of mine? LOL.
