Govt adopts girls.

Not only the Govt. of India but no Government in this world can adopt their citizens. IT IS AN UNREALISTIC PROPOSAL. That is exactly not what the Govt. is meant for. But Govt. of India has some schemes for encouraging birth to Girl Child. In Bengal, people get moneytary rewards for giving birth to Girl child from local Panchayets. Their are other incentives and rewards as well. But people of India are not going to change their attitude towards girl child. It is so sad. Atleast in this regard, I put blame on people, both educated and illeterate mass, for their gender-bias. Regarding this topic again, if you have heard of any such proposal from the Govt. itself, and if the Govt. of India manages to unearth such dream scheme it will be nice and fine. Still as you have said already, it is the ballots where they look at with greedy eyes most of the time and it may be for the sake of ballot only.
