Is abortion immoral? would you go for it?

i have a 15 year old friend who gt an unwanted pregnancy, she's afraid to tell her parents about it coz the guy left her when she told him that she's pregnant, one of her friend suggested that she should go for an abortion coz the baby might jst ruin her life because she's only a teenager.. so, if you were to ask would you go for it?

I think it all really depends on your mindset. Someone I knew got pregnant at 15 and she decieded to keep the baby. Its very rough on her and she can't do things she would like to do, nevertheless, she is glad that she kept the baby. If she deciedes to abbort the baby, then it may leave her emotionally hurt. If she deciedes to keep it, her life will be tougher, but she may end up happier. It also depends on the suppourt she has.
Personally, I hate abbortion and I would never do it. But EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion. :)

The frist thing the young lady should do is talk to her parnets, and discuss the problem with them....If she can't talk to her parnets then she could go to her minster or priest......No one can decide what she should do....I don't believe in abortions, but it's not for any one to decide but her and her parnets since they are the ones that is going to have to help her with the baby if she should decide to keep it......There is also a chance she may not be pregrent....Has she gone to a doctor to find out....

I got pregnant at 19 and my parents are very strict especially my dad..I was very afraid of him....The only person who knew I was pregnant was my boyfriend..I thought of abortion that time because I am not so ready and I still want to enjoy life but I thought of it and as the days went by I wanted to care for the child.. In the first place it was my fault I got pregnant and it is my responsibility to care for this child..and I stopped caring about what others would say or if my parents gets mad at me or if my boyfriend don't want to marry me or support my child.All I thought about was caring for the child..I didn't tell my parents but I got sick and eventually I was brought to a clinic and they found out.There was no turning back...But I don't regret it because I have a beautiful daughter and very intelligent too..We are like sisters now and we borrow each others clothes and shoes..I am now 33 and today is her 15th birthday..Tell your friend not to give up her child..The baby won't ruin her life..If the guy left her because she's pregnant tell her to tell her parents..accept her fault and go with the baby..My child didn't ruin my life infact it made me a better person and I am getting my dreams because I have an inspiration..and they are my children..It made me stronger and made me more a woman..and i would never call myself or imagine myself a coward who killed her child because she's afraid of the consequences. Please stop your friend to do a mistake she'll carry with her forever..I hope it's not too late.

I could never have an abortion. I would not beable to live with myself. My mother has had plenty of abortions, and I use to have dreams of children that wetre never born... I think this might happen to her if she has an abortion (dreams)

If she used protection and really tried not to get pregnant, I personally would not be against her getting an abortion just once. But if she was careless about it, she now has to take on the consequences. A baby won't ruin her life, but it will surely add to it.
