I've questions about mylot,can you help me??

Hello,everyone!I'm anew member on mylot,I'm still not very familiar with it.This morning when I log on mylot,I found the number behind my user name diminished.I know the number stands for how many discussions I've post.I feel strange about it,is there anything wrong??futhermore,I want to know how can I increase my rating.Waiting for your resposes...Thanks!

well once you get to 100 posts you will get a star and that is based on how people rate you either a + or -. that's the only way you can increase it and also try putting up good discussions that interest people ( im not saying you dont) and try to give good responses to discussions, that way you will increase your rating. :)

Thats a good feedback but if you can further elaborate as to how do we go back to see whether our discussions have got positive or negative ratings,i remeber when I had a drop in my earnings by few cents I assumed the reason to be not logging in for a few days..but a freind at mylot told me that it would be because of you getting a negative rating,how do I come to know about that

That isn't correct your earnings went down becasue you posted i a discussion that was deleted and when the discussion gets deleted along go the responses which drops your earnings and can make your response number drop also. It also ould be that a response that you made was deleted. I would refer to the guidelines to find out what discussions are against mylot rules. Hope this helpd you! :)

Sorry you also can't see how other people are rating you. You can tell if your getting alot of negative ratings by your star rating.

You have to reach a hundred points for you to be rated with stars. Well, if you want higher ratings, work hard here in mylot. Post quality responses and most importantly, follow mylot rules.

I;m not sure but it sounds like your saying that your number went down from where it was the last time you wee on, if that's the case the explanation is that a discussion that you responded in was deleted their by deleting your response and lowering your number. The star rating you get after you reach 100 responses the numbers range from 1 through 10, the higher the number the higher your mylot reputation. You can't find out how a member rated your discussions or your responses, but you can tell if your getting a lot of negatives by your star. I would refer to the guidelines as their are specific rules about what type of discussions to not post. Mylot wants quality responses and discussions started. To make the most money here mylot wants full participation. I hope this information helps. Welcome to mylot and the best of luck to you. :)
