Wellness Tourism is on the Increase

Today the health conscious society desires to club a holiday with some activity of physical fitness. Most preferred destinations are those where there is something more than mere sight seeing and relaxing. Tourists today are seeking destinations that offer some kind of Localized therapies for keeping oneself fit and also curing people with ailments. In India the most sought for Destination of Tourists is the State of Kerala, where the Ayurveda Form of Medications are being offered in most of the Hotels, resorts and Tourist spots. It is considered as God's own State by the people of Kerala. The tourist attractions today are not only towards the scenic beauty of Kerala but also the Wellness Destination of Ailing Tourists. Is there any other destination in the world that is famous for Wellness Tourism?

there is an island in greece which is famous for its wellness retreat centre..i remember telling my parents that i wanted to go there one day..they had yoga, veggie food, tai ji and all sorts of activities..
it's on the island of skyors..

I've never heard of any thing like this in our area of the world but what a great idea. I'm going to have to do some research and check into this.
