i don't know what to do anymore. i'm not fat nor am i thin. i'm just rightly built. but the thing is, it's just so hard to get rid of my belly that seems to be getting larger each time. i don't have time to join a fitness club since i have an 8-hr dayjob and a parttime from 7 to 10 pm. and when i get home, i'm so tired i dont even have enough energy to do a few crunches. help!

Hi, since high school, i've always had a six pack torso. However, things began to change when i was pregnant with my first baby. During this period, diet was such a taboo word because i would eat everything i fancy. So after the delivery i was appalled by the state of my body. If you had a baby, physical changes will need getting used to. As for the excercise, hey gurl you are already working 2 jobs!! What more excercise do you need? However, if you are bothered about the belly situation, you can try to contract your tummy muscles consciously all the time. Contract your muscles while standing, sitting or walking just to tone the muscles. If it's the fat in the belly that's bothering you, try cutting down on carbohydrates because carbo that is not converted into energy by the body, will turn to fat. Good luck and keep in touch!

the reason for bulgging belly is weak abdominal muscles, and the best to do is some excercies at home to make them stronger five minutes every day is not much time of yours but do it regularly

hey Diorcastillo... why in the world do you girls obsess over this silliness for? I little bit of a belly makes you are a woman my dear (instead of a girl). I am a guy, and a nice rounded belly is quite beautiful on a lady, not fat, but an honest belly that sort of shows once in awhile is a good thing. Its adorable. who ever said it was ugly, I dont know, but look around you, it looks HEALTHY! did you ever see those guys on TV with the silly alligator stomach, YUCK!! and another YUCK!! disgusting. Just think how many hours they spend at a gym, do you think you want that guy as a boyfriend?? He spends his time thinking about his body, ha! As long as you look and act healthy, the boys will love you. (you are real cute anyway from the looks of your avatar... by the way, i'm single.. heehee)

Watch out what you eat. If you don't have time for exercise then you can't afford those extra calories. I think it is in your body to save fat in the stomach area. Like what you said, you shed fat all over your body but your belly still bulges. Try to eat healthy and nutritious food but please do so in moderation. Some cardio exercise would help even if you do it on weekends when you have no work. Try to be active all the time like when you can really afford to walk to your office or somewhere then walk. If you've been sitting all day in the office then try to stretch and roam around once in a while. Just keep on moving, people nowadays are just too lazy and rely much on the comfort of technology yet they complain a lot when they get fat.

well this has been a problem for me for a very long time,I am not fat either but when i started eating like my friend on weight watchers ,i lost a lot of my tummy. My diet consists of 3 or more vegtables a day,3 fruits per day,I eat a subway a lot of days and i stay away from starchy and fatty foods....I began to have a stomach after having kids, and sometimes it just runs in families...without hvaing time for crunches,do you have maybe time to walk 3 times a week, that could help..I know even when you are not fat and really don't need to lose weight cutting back and losing helps trim down the tummy.

if you have had a child, your stomach muscles could be streched, or you could have a hernia or something medically wrong

unfortunately, i have had none of that. it's because of too much slouching perhaps. or too much eating and then sitting down at once.

welcome to myLot dear!it is also my problem. what i am doing everyday is to have a walk exercise.if your building is not that tall and your work is in 4th floor maybe you could do the same of what i am doing.instead of using elavator i used stairs to go up and down.that is a great help for me.i repeat for 5 times a day.i always arrived in my office early just to do my exercise habit.also, don't eat too much rice, too much soda.avoid those.after eating don't sit,you stand.
