First, many of you need to learn more about basic writing. Watch your spelling (keep a dictionmary close by) and how you make your sentences. There is one easy rule of thumb: Write as you would speak! If you have to record yourself, do it! Then play it back and copy it all down! Word for word! Believe it or not, most people speak with excellent sentences already and all they have to do is emulate that. When I first learned how to write, I copied old Associated Press writing style. You know, get the "who, what, where, when, why and how" in your first sentence if you can! One great feature of Mylot.com is that it doesn't allow you to cut and paste, which is a terrible habit to get into. I can tell immediately when someone does this and I go right to the next post! Don't do it! Write your own words the way you know you can! Keep it short; readers don't need anything very long. In fact, this post is too long already!
