(Not directed at all men, just some ok?) Why do men seem to think that their problems are more important than A: their children or B: the mother of their children that stays home all day on no sleep, and yeah. I just got into a discussion with my DH because HE decided to stay up way late last night ok? And yes he was late this morning to work. Alright. I had no sleep last night because our daughter was up late (8 months old) And then the day before, he stayed in bed all day to catch up on his sleep while I stayed up with the kids. And he gives me heck when they get into things and such, but um you try keeping an eye on the kids all of the time? He says I spend too much time on the computer, but um no he's the one who's working or sleeping, so how would he know if I spend too much time on the computer or not?I am just frustrated. I have to be up super early tomorrow for a VERY long day ahead, and he doesn't seem to think of that. Instead, he thinks to wash our good sheets and the protective cover for our bed, at 9 at night. I want to go to bed I have to be up early in the morning and he didn't think of that. Instead he thought of how the sheets bothered him so he needed to wash them. And he also is getting mad at me becuase my daughter drank juice in the living room. So what? i mean cripes if it keeps her quiet so we can not listen to her scream, then why does it bother anyone? But yeah. Sorry I needed to vent. Right now I am so exhausted from keeping this place half clean, which I never get a thank you for, keeping the kids clean and fed, and make sure they make it to school and daycare, and picked up from both places, that if I said anything to him right now I would tear his head off. Bah!

I know how you feel. i feel your pain lol. my hubby isn't that bad, but he does always say "well i'm the one who makes the money so you can bla bla bla" well yea you make the money but i do everything else. I don't think they know what it takes to take care of kids and keep the house clean, and dont we deserve some time to ourselves too ?!

by the way. i just let him say his side and then when he is more calm i talk to him about the situation at hand. that's how i deal with it.
