Why are so many people get hooked up with Friendster?

It seems that a lot of people keep on posting all their photos in their friendster account. And wishing and hoping that there'd be another testimonial for them. And checking out everyday on the # of "Who's viewed me?" status. And viewing again and again of other people's profile. Whew! Watta task to do everyday..

hi there! i'm one of whom you exactly described...i'm not a fanatic , though. i love seeing what's going on with my former schoolmates, batchmates, friends, relatives, etc. i may not get to see them most of the time, since everybody's quite busy doing their thing, but with the pictures, testimonials (what others tell of them), bulletins, i get to know what they are up to lately...or i just have to admit the fact that i love knowing people better and deeper, 'cause if you would observe closely, some people feel comfortable telling anything about themselves there. if friendster could help me on that, i might, as well, grab it.=
