what causes dandruff & how to stop it?

i'm having scalp problems - DANDRUFF!
i really want to stop it. i tried anti-dandruff shampoo but after days using, it keeps coming back. i take a bath everyday: shampoo, conditioner & everything of great hygiene stuff but still, "Nothing Kills Dandruff".
what should i do?

I can sympathize with you, I had is so bad even in my eyebrows. I have been to a dermatologists, and even the most expensive treatments never helped. Believe me, I had it bad, until I discovered Niz shampoo (don't know if you can get it where you are), but it did wonders. I can now even go without washing for 2-3 days, and use different shampoos. I know it is very embarrasing especially if you have dark hair like mine

if dandruff shampoo doesn't work at all, try going to a dermatologist, maybe she can help you. a friend of mine went to the derma and gave her some products and she was injected in some areas in her head due to hair fall cause of dandruf

To much hair washing can only make things worse - even if you are using a good anti-dandruff shampoo. You should try to stay away from hair washing for some time and let your head scalp get greasy in a natural way (I know this sounds silly, but it will help).
Also avoid using some cosmetic hair products such as gels, sprays and wax.
