The appeal of Grey's Anatomy

I just finished watching the DVD of Grey's Anatomy seasons 1 and 2. I was hooked, I couldn't stop watching. Just what makes the series so appealing? Well for one thing, I like the mix of comedy and drama in their storylines. I also like the casting and the characters. They show the human side of doctors, something many of us overlook. I think one other thing that makes the show click for me is that the interns are in their 30s, near my age so I can relate to their concerns and their quirks.

I like House, too. I'm not into any medical-related profession, but House and Grey's Anatomy appeal to me. And just like you, I'm always hooked by the suspense.

I find Meredith flirty but lovable. =) I also was a fan of Patrick in my teens, m glad he's back on the screen. He and Ellen Pompeo (Meredith) make a nice pair. George is simple, awkward and goofy. He's so lovable!

I like Grey's Anatomy, but then I'm a doctor, so I can very much relate to them as I went through what they are going through, well, to a certain extent. I'm pleasantly surprised to see non-doctors likin the series and empathisizing with the characters.

Exactly. i didn't want to watch it at first because I though: "heck, its another medical series...boring" But I take it back. I've a renewed respect for the people in the medical profession, especiall the young ones trying to find their place. I also learned a lot some things about health and medicine, so it's been a good experience watching the series.

And this: Time flys Time waits for no man Time heals all ruins All any of us wants is more time Time to stand up Time to grow up Time to let go Time

I like these lines too. How we all wish we have more time... It is ironic... when we have so much time on our hands, we don't know what to do with it... then when we hardly have time for anything, we wish we had more time.
