Social anthropology is the study of human culture: attitudes, beliefs , and rules of behaviour that become generalized in society. Clearly, this interest overlaps significantly with sociology, but there is a difference in emphasis. Anthropology places a somewhat greater emphasis on describing the cultures of various societies: Its primary objective is to understand these cultures.
