How long can you hold your breath ?

I cannot hold my breath for no longer than 50 seconds in any case. I dont know if people can hold their breath for 10 min. But with practise i think yo can hold for a longer time but 10 minutes is too long. I dont hold my breath deliberately everyday but i tried when i was a kid often and that time it was 50 seconds and even to date it is the same. I might not improve much.

I have tried that many times and was good in doing that. But its not for 10 minutes. I was able to stay for 3 minutes and nearly 45 seconds. This capability increases as you practise.

i don't know if 10 minutes could be possible, i can only hold my breath for around a minute, lol!
