What do you mean by Maternal Instinct?

Some women are caring and wants to be forever mother. They love to adopt children, to care for children even they are her own. Mothering is nurturing and caring.Its like a vocation. You give, love without expecting anything in return. Spread the mother spirit in you.

I think a maternal instinct is looking after your children in the best way and predicting their needs without being told how to do it.
I don't in fact think that it actually exists. I think we learn what to do through lots of hard work and experience. I certainly know that motherhood didn't come easily to me.
