mylot computation

I just wonder how is the earning in mylot being computed?? Another thing I noticed some stars in some member with numbers and corresponding colors such yellow for 8, green for 5.. Im 5 year old here and i want to be familiar with this... Could you help me?

Computation of earnings here is not divulge entirely but It will be really depend on the number of post you made for that day for a certain cut-off time and then photo and refferals have additional earnings too.
While in term of star it is a rating here your reputation as a member on how other rate you and your discussion the highest rating is 10 and you can gain such good reputation by selecting as best respond and starting a discussion with lost of respond from mylot members you can have your own star when you reach 100 posts.
DO you really mean 5 years or 5 days here?
