Hi Sara. I have two children. My younger one (a little girl) is now 6 months old and was released from the NICU the day before Valentine's Day. She also had a g-tube, but got her Mickey button on Feb 12th :). She still has a central line in her left leg. And has a condition caled Short Boewl Syndrome, which resulted from NEC, she has high blood pressure, Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, and several other medical complications. But she is as perfect as her brother & any other baby in my eyes & she has just as much potential as anyone else :)

I have a son with a bilateral cleft lip and palate, and a son with Autism. Different special needs than your child, but still a lot to handle. My older son will be having his 10th surgery this month.
