There has been a lot of fake 50$ going around.

I walk to wal-mart one day and decide to buy a good video game and when I go to a cashier to pay they wont accept my money. They claim its a fake 50$ but didnt call the cops or anything because they say there has been alot going around with nobody even noticing. Now what do I do with my fake 50. How do I make sure I dont get anymore fakes?
