Time to wait before...

dating. What is the proper time to wait before dating after your spouse has passed away? This question was asked on the 700 club. I thought this would be a good discussion. According to Pat Roberson their is no timing because the spouse is dead and they would want you to go on and have a happy life. What do you think?

I think anytime after a year would be ok, but as I've never gone through this I'd probably say longer as it would take much to get used to.

I think it would vary for everyone but you do have to go through a grieving process and that time is different for everyone. In my opinion a minimum of a year before thinking about dating again if that is something one wants to do.
