When you wake up in the morning, are you excited to get out of bed and start your day? Is your work fulfilling? Are you making a living by doing things you enjoy? Yes? Then how did you create that life for yourself? No? What's stopping you from creating that life for yourself?

Well for me it depends on what day of the week it is! Monday to Friday for me is the dread of having to do a job that I no longer like (IT Project manager for a large company). My job consists of too high a workload, too much stress and non stop dealing with difficult problems. Some days are better than others. I hope to be able to change direction soon and do something with less stress and to be able to spend more time with my family.

Hey John! That's really the source of my question -- about the dreaded day-job. I believe we can (should?) enjoy how we spend our days - at work and play. I quit my day job ten years ago because I was miserable. I was good at my job but just saw it as a way to pay the bills. Since then, I created my dog walking business - small and just me so it's not a big money-maker. I'm not the "business" type. Wish I were. I'm working on that now...incorporating fun with business. The more we love what we do, the more fruitful our lives will be. Go for the less-stressful lifestyle and spend time with your kids. THAT's what you'll remember - and how you'll BE remembered. Perhaps we'll all make a bundle by blogging and networking online. That's a new goal of mine. Thanks for your response.

I am happy with my life. I feel this becasue i keep people who are negative away from me, adn people who like to enjoy life like me around. There were sacrafices along the way, but looking back they were needed and i keep looking forward not back ward or regretting choices i made, hindsigth is 20/20 gotta do what you think is right and do it. I been lucky cause the people i work with are great and we all get along adn respect each other and their lifestyles.

to tell you truth, later this morning i hesitate if i'll go to work or not. i'm simply bored to do the same things over and over again. i want to try something different. but otherwise, i'm happy with all the people i have and somehow, i'm thankful that God guides me. i know it cause i feel it.

Boredom - yeah, that's a big one. I can't do the same thing over and over again. Thanks for answering. I often wonder about this stuff.

Yes, I am happy. Fortunately, I am now earning from my number one hobby, that's reading. How did I end up with it? Maybe it was a game of chance that brought me to my job. Never thought I'd end up with this kind of job. Anyway, it's great. But I'd like to try something other than this - something equally interesting.

Yay - great to hear you're doing something you really enjoy. Interesting that once we do what we enjoy, we look toward doing more things we can enjoy. It's wonderful isn't it? Thanks for your reply.
