Faxing with Win XP and a DSL modem; anybody know how?

As far as I know, you have to have fax software to fax through Windows XP. I don't think XP has the software. You will also need a scanner, at the least. But, nowadays, they have scanners and faxes in the same machine and it comes with the software. Since you answered this so long ago, I'm sure you've figured that out.
