Who actually votes for American Idol?

I voted last season and it was for Taylor Hicks. I'm so glad my vote was counted. He deserved it. Too bad you don't hear much of him.

I do vote for my favorites. I voted for Chris Daughtry many times and was upset when he got voted off. Luckily it looks like things are going well for him. He is definately going to be a successful musician.

I did last season. And only the last night. It apparently didn't help since Taylor Hicks won. We'll see this year if I will. Depends on the people.

I have for the last two years. I didn't vote for any last night, though, because I wasn't watching close enough. I also am not going to vote tonight because I will be working through part of the show and can't see all the singers. I like to vote when I see everyone sing pretty much in full just to be fair to all of them. I think it counts, pretty much. In the last two seasons, both of the people I voted for have won.

No, I've never done it. I don't feel like getting charged for a text message or using my minutes for the call. You can vote on Nashville Star also online, but before you do they want your name, email address, etc. which I see no reason to provide. Otherwise I would like to see my vote count. I wonder if their family members all call multiple times or as much as they can in the time their phone lines are open! lol

I voted for Kelly Clarckson she is the only one I did though. I think it is a great show but they are very rude and I don't like the age caps and they way they treat the contestants its just bad nmanners.

Idid the first season for some reason. I dont think it makes a difference. They just figure out who they want to win and the public has no choice.
