Why is it that Dogs are the most Loyal pet ???

i never understood this reason,there are lot many animals and also a huge list of pets,but y DOGS r the most loyal. wat is the reason behind this,do u feel your dog also is very loyal towards the master,i.e. U.

all animals hav sme characteristics on which they are classified for different purposes,,,,,all animals hav different characteristics,,,,and also saying thr,,,cunning like jackal,ec....like tht dog loyal ,,,its characteristics,,,,,,i dont hav dog

Because of dogs being with human for maximum hours than any other pets hence dogs could understand our needs and its responsability
